There are three terminal exams at the end of the A Level Course. Paper 1 assesses content from Units 1, 2, 3 and 5 and is worth 37% of the final marks; paper 2 assess content from units 1, 2, 4 and 6 and is also worth 37% of the final marks; paper 3 assesses content from units 1 to 6 and is worth 26% of the final marks. the units are as follows: 1= Development of practical skills in Biology, 2= Foundations in Biology, 3= Exchange and Transport, 4= Biodiversity, evolution and disease, 5=Communication homeostasis and energy and 6= Genetics, evolution and ecosystems
