Students may choose a broad or specialist approach to their A level art and design studies with opportunities to develop painting and drawing, collage, printmaking, 3D sculpture and relief, digital photography, video and critical studies. Students are expected to maintain working sketchbooks showing detailed investigation, artists' research and experimental processes as evidence of developing original ideas. Students are encouraged to experience a wide range of materials and techniques, scale and concepts in producing their final pieces.
