This busy, exciting and versatile course focuses on developing skills as a performer covering all three aspects of Acting, Singing and Dancing. Students will develop a broad range of performance skills in these art forms. The College is fortunate to have three specialist performance areas: a studio, dance studio and a professional large-scale fitted theatre. Applicants should be passionate and committed to the Arts and to working in a flexible way. Recent productions have included Chicago, We will Rock you and Sweet Charity, and a final year showcase. These performances give students an insight into working in the industry as well as practical hands-on experience. We also have close links with Drama Schools and professional practitioners who come in on a regular basis to work with students. Students benefit from regular trips to the theatre, with recent trips including Book of Mormon, Sweeney Todd and Gypsy. Many of our students go on to study Performing Arts at universities, drama schools or work in the industry (e.g. Disney, cruises, touring theatre).
