This qualification is designed to focus on developing communication skills. Communications skills are vital with regards to developing work and life skills. It spans all 3 years of the programme and culminates in an external examiner from the English Speaking Board assessing and awarding certification. The ESB qualifications assess a range of communication skills; including introductions, presenting information, making telephone calls and taking part in group discussions. Learners will be assessed on a combination of these depending on their individual exam criteria.
