This course is for anyone who has an interest in sport. The course consists of 2 compulsory core units which cover the fundamentals of sport, and 2 specialist units, totalling 240 guided learning hours across the year. One of the compulsory units is assessed by way of an external exam, which is computer based. The other compulsory unit and the 2 specialist units are assessed by way of a series of assignments. Assignments can be produced as written reports, presentation, posters, question and answers or practical performance. Students are graded with a Distinction, Merit or Pass
