Textiles is a creative and very hands-on course which has been designed to encourage candidates to take a broad view of design and technology, to develop their capacity to design and make products and to appreciate the complex relations between design, materials, manufacture and marketing. It allows students to research the work of individual designers, the roles that various people play in the fashion industry and to translate this understanding into practical work.
