This intellectually challenging subject involves exploring a range of topics based on religion, including philosophy of religion and ethics. These may include philosophical arguments for the existence of God, the problem of evil and suffering, life after death, religious experience, the relationship between religion and morality, sexual ethics, war and peace and justice, law and punishment. Students may consider religious views from both eastern and western traditions.
