This course will offer you the opportunity to develop your self-expression in a mixture of areas including painting, drawing, print, sculpture, graphics, textiles, fashion, ICT and photography. You will build upon your personal strengths whilst experimenting with the new techniques and media in a fully equipped, specialist environment. The friendly, creative atmosphere and high expectations help you to achieve your creative potential. Many aspects of Art and Design will be explored through gallery visits, workshops, researching artists, designers and craftspeople, cultures and media and using the Learning Resource Centre. Self-supported study and contextual research skills are an important aspect of the course
