Education and Training, Award Level 3

The award is designed for those who are not yet in a teaching role, or who have just started a teaching role. This introductory qualification is for people interested in teaching and training in further education colleges, independent training providers, local authorities and voluntary organisations. You do not need to be working in a teaching role to complete this course. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training will give an insight into the roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training; inclusive teaching and learning approaches; planning and preparing lessons; how to assess and give constructive feedback; assessment and record keeping. This is a 12 week programme delivered over 3 hours per week, evening or daytime.
