Is this the right course for me? This course is designed for delegates with some knowledge of MS Word who would like to complete this short course to improve/update their knowledge and skills. What will I learn about? Working with tables, form design (including on-line forms), working with tabs, Mail Merge, section breaks, customising bullets and numbering, working with multiple page documents and shortcuts and quick tips. How will I learn? Through a combination of demonstrations and hands-on practice. You will also receive handouts to take away and study at home in your own time. Will I gain a qualification? You will not gain a formal qualification but you may receive a Certificate of Attendance from your tutor. What can I do next? There opportunities to achieve ITQ units in Word at levels 1 & 2 in our brochure and at our Flexible Learning Centres. What do I need to bring to classes? Note pad and pen. You may wish to bring a packed lunch. Hot and cold drinks can be purchased at the centre. Can I talk to someone about my course before I start? It is usually possible to put you directly in touch with the tutor if a member of the Community Learning MK staff cannot answer your query.
