You may wish to take an examination or just enjoy getting fit and making new friends. What will I learn? The course covers light and shade of sound and performance quality. Directional steps and turns, dealing with general steps and finer and more complex rhythms, routines. How will I learn? The tutor will demonstrate steps and interpretation of rhythms which you will practise and build into routines and performances. Will I gain a qualification? It is possible to take an American Association of Dancing examination. What can I do next? You may wish to re-enrol at this level next term or you may feel confident enough to move on to the advanced class. What do I need to bring to the classes? Please wear comfortable clothing such as a track suit or leggings. The tutor will discuss the purchase of tap shoes with you on the first night if you do not already have some.
