The Academy has adopted the AQA course for AS/A2 Physics, which in our opinion is most suited to our learners. There are five sections in the AS course and a further three sections in the A2 course plus an optional unit. The approach of each unit begins with a study of the laws, theories and models of Physics and finishes with an exploration of their practical application (projectiles, replacement materials for bone, imaging, x-ray diffraction, crash- proofing, energy sources in stars, creation of chemical elements and earthquake detection).
