If these are the kind of questions you would like the answers to then Sociology is the subject for you. It is the study of society and of people and their behaviour. It will help you to understand your own life and the lives of those around you. You will develop a wide set of transferable skills like team-working; verbal communication skills; showing initiative; being able to work in a way that is supportive of equality and diversity in the workplace. Sociology graduates are found in a wide range of occupations from social worker to journalist, teacher to probation officer.
