Physical Education/Sports Studies

UPDATED 20160317 12:23:45

The Physical Education course provides an essential foundation for higher education courses in Sport Science and future careers in teaching, coaching, the leisure industry, sports nutrition or psychology. It is also a useful preparation for courses in some areas of medicine, especially physiotherapy. Although there is some practical work in the course, the majority of the work is theoretical, with a strong bias towards scientific enquiry and prospective candidates should consider this carefully.
