This course enables family adults to build skills, knowledge and confidence in supporting their child to develop English and Maths skills through play and everyday experiences. It also improves their understanding of what young children need to learn and experience so they are ready for school. Understanding the value of play and the Early Years Foundation Stage is an important part of the course and provides an insight into Early Years learning for adults who might be interested in progressing to courses and qualification in working with and supporting children.
