This course is aimed at adults that want to work in, or are considering a job caring for adults and children. It will identify what skills are required for this type of work and whether learners have those skills. It will also help learners find out about local employers in the Health and Social Care sector. The course will help learners to...... -find out what is involved in working in a job caring for adults and children -identify what skills are needed -look at what skills they already have -develop skills the learners might want for this type of work -learn about and meet local employers -focus on how learners can search for work in this sector The course is one day a week for two weeks.
