You will study graphs in order to model situations in the real world. If you can fit the right curve to a data set then you might predict what will happen in the future. Similarly, when you seek to solve equations you will do so because it may be helpful in understanding the real life situation they model. The course will enable you to follow a Maths curriculum that supports your other courses. It will help you to develop your communication skills and enable you to interpret the Maths you use. Use of Maths provides very good support for Business, ICT and Social Sciences. It is not appropriate for those wishing to study Maths, Physics, traditional Engineering or Computer Science courses at university.
