This course covers the principals and applications of Electrotechnical Technology, as well as important aspects of Health & Safety and installations. You will study the principles of Electrotechnology, learn the basics of electrical installation and health and safety. This forms the core knowledge for employment in the electrical contracting industry. Participation in this course may lead to employment as a trainee electrician, or placement on the apprenticeship programme may be available. Short courses such as 17th Edition Wiring Regulations or Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations may also form part of your career progression.
