We hope to inspire and develop your interest and enjoyment of literature through reading a range of texts and through encouraging your individual and original interpretations of them. This course provides you with an opportunity to study a subject that is held in high academic regard, but which may also be a personal passion or interest. The study of English Literature at this level offers personal enrichment and a potential pathway to further/higher study and rewarding future careers. You can expect to be given strong individual support to achieve your maximum potential on this course, as well as active, effective and student-centred classroom learning.
