Information Technology is an exciting subject and this vocational qualification in IT approaches the subject in a practical way using real-life situations as a basis for learning. It will ensure you understand personal attributes valued by employers and learn to use IT to communicate effectively. You will learn the skills necessary to become an IT professional, including setting up and maintaining computer systems and using appropriate business, multimedia, web authoring and programming software. In order to study for the Extended Diploma, the Foundation Diploma must have been successfully completed. The Level 3 Extended Diploma is studied for three blocks and is equivalent to three A levels.
