IT - BTEC Level 3 Certificate

Information Technology is an exciting subject and the BTEC in IT approaches the subject in a practical way using real-life situations as a basis for learning. It will ensure you understand personal attributes valued by employers and learn to use IT to communicate effectively. You will learn the skills necessary to become an IT professional, including setting up and maintaining computer systems and using appropriate business, multimedia, web authoring and programming software. Learning activities will reflect the structure of the units and allow you to gain a real feel of what it is like to work as an IT professional. They will include discussion, presentations, practical work, individual research and group projects. The Level 3 BTEC Certificate is equivalent to one AS level.
