The AUEA Biology course has been designed to allow students, not only to study the fascinating and amazing world of Biology, but also learn the application of Biology in the engineering field (Bio-Engineering). From bionics and the cutting edge bio-robotics at Aston University to exploring the latest developments in synthetic Biology, students will be immersed in one of the most rapidly developing sectors of engineering. The core value of Biology at AUEA is to ensure that learning is enjoyable and enhances a student’s enthusiasm for Biology and Bio-Engineering. The course maximises the opportunity to experience Aston Universities’ undergraduate and post graduate cutting edge research into; Bionics, optometry, Brain studies and the brand new European Bio-research institute (opening in 2013).
