Physics A Level includes a wide range of topics. These include, for example, the study of measurements, particles and radiation, waves, mechanics and materials . Students also consider nuclear physics and thermal physics. Students need to be hard working with a curious mind and a desire to solve problems. They must relish the challenge that difficult concepts present, and have a passion for practical work and be skilled at collecting sound results, that they can analyse and draw conclusions. The study of A level Mathematics is an essential requirement for students studying A level Physics.
