French AS/A’ level provides you with a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in the language and culture of the ‘Francophone’ world. Not only will you be perfecting your fluency and communicating with others in this beautiful language, you will also be developing your knowledge and appreciation of a wealth of French-speaking materials in the original language. You will be discovering a range of issues and trends within the social, artistic and political world where French is spoken including the study of film, music, literature and current affairs. This is a stimulating course which will equip you with many transferable skills such as autonomy, resourcefulness, creativity, critical thinking, analysis and linguistic flexibility enabling you to proceed to further study or to employment.
