This course provides a specialist work-related qualification for the dance industry. The course provides knowledge, understanding and vocational skills that are needed to prepare a dancer for employment or further training within the performing arts. This is a fully practical course with a requirement to log every lesson in detail to supplement your coursework. It is basic dance training; looking at key choreographers in ballet, contemporary and jazz. You will show case your work in a final performance in a theatre in your 1st and 2nd year.
