Learning the skills to apply lash extensions to thicken and lengthen the clients natural eyelashes via a state of the art technique. The following units will be covered: -Apply Individual Permanent Lashes -Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon -Client care and communication in beauty-related industriesThe course is over 3 sessions and requires all students to carry out case studies at home. The course is achieved through assessments, mandatory exams, workbooks and a portfolio of evidence. Both theory and practical will be assessed. The course develops practical skills, application of eyelash extensions, Anatomy and physiology, health and safety, home and after care advice for a range of clients.The VTCT Level 3 Award in Lash Extensions provides learners with the necessary understanding and skills to provide eyelash extension treatments for clients. Learners can progress into other areas of the beauty industry and or directly into employment or self employment with this qualification. Progression opportunities exist in the form of other specialist vocationally related qualifications at Level 3.
