Drama and Theatre Studies is an engaging subject, ideal for students who enjoyed GCSE Drama, and who now want to learn more about how to perform and the theory behind it. You will gain a knowledge and understanding of theatre practice and develop performance and/or production skills appropriate to the creation and realisation of drama and theatre. At A-level you will gain a more advanced level of performance and/or production skills alongside the ability to think independently, make judgements and refine your work in the light of research. You will also be able to analyse the ways in which different performance and production elements are brought together to create theatre.
