Course outline: The course focuses on geographical issues and their evaluation. Content includes physical geography issues such as flooding, weather hazards and challenges facing ecosystems. Human geography issues will cover global population changes, evolution of world cities and development. Throughout the course students will be asked to develop their IT graphical, research and fieldwork skills. It gives lots of opportunity for students to discuss their own attitudes and beliefs on issues of concern.
