Do you have the gift of imaginative writing? Do you want to write? Not sure how to begin? What is the course about? (Aims) Creative writing is one of the mist satisfying occupations in the world. Not only can it be therapeutic, it can be profitable and extremely enjoyable. It doesn't matter if you have never put pen to paper before. Make new friends with people and words. Write with a tutor; currently publishing in magazines here and abroad, who is also a best selling crime novelist and whose aim during this course is to help you to find and develop that gift of imaginative writing. Students who have followed this course have had their writing commended - some have published. You may have the ambition to follow in their footsteps. Are there specific requirements for joining? Only a good imagination and a sense of humour! Will there be additional costs? Purchase of an A4 writing pad and pen. Do I need specific equipment? A4 paper and pen. Course outline (outcomes) By the end of the course, you should be able to: understand the craft needed to write a short story start or continue with writing a novel.
