English Language and Literature Level 3 GCE A2 Level

This combined language and literature course requires you to consider the varieties of spoken and written texts from both a literary and linguistic point of view. You will develop your ability to write for different audiences (who is the text aimed at?) and purposes (what is the text for?) including a consideration of genres, style and grammar. In both the AS/A level years you will be expected to keep a reading log of a variety of genres.
