The Level 2 Apprenticeship in Accident Repair Paint Finishing will equip participants with the knowledge,understanding and practical skills required for working within a motor vehicle paint shop. Skills include preparing vehicles to be painted after damage has occurred,ensuring all parts have been stripped from the vehicle,sanding down relevant areas,adjoining areas for blending,masking,etching and priming areas to be treated and selecting,matching and mixing colour The apprenticeship includes both a knowledge and competence certificate,functional maths,English and ICT at L1,employee rights and responsibilities and personal learning and thinking skills. Nova centres may provide additional support for 16-18 yrs. old learners on a day release basis according to needs. Further details are available on application
