This is an introductory course to give a basic knowledge and understanding of 4/5 alternative therapies including Hopi Ear Candling, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and reflexology.All of which are discussed in theory, Demonstrations with the opportunity to take part. You will be learning in a small, friendly group environment.Learners will have handouts and access to other resources to learn the theory behind 4 therapies, they will watch demonstrations of each treatment and some will have the opportunity to take part in the demonstration as a volunteer. There will be short activities for all learners to take part in.Learners will learn how to:-describe what Hopi Ear Candles look and smell like, Identify benefits and contraindications to having the treatmentTo identify, ’what is Indian Head Massage? How does it work?, what are the benefits? Is it safe?find the reflex points on the feet and hands and relate them to parts of the body.relate the principles of Reiki Healing and how it is connected to the chakras or energy centres
