The aim of this course is to encourage learners to develop confidence in, and a positive attitude towards, the subject with an increased focus on applying mathematics in context, problem-solving, reasoning and the functional elements of mathematics. This course is for you if you want to improve your mathematical skills for work, further study or personal development and need, or would like, to gain the GCSE Mathematics qualification. The course will follow the AQA syllabus and the qualification is gained by taking exams at the end of the course in June. This course will be free of charge to those learners who have not yet achieved A*-C in GCSE mathematics.
