Understanding Dementia

UPDATED 20160314 13:45:07

The statistics on dementia are powerful: currently in the UK, there are approx. 850,000 people with the disease and 2/3 of sufferers are women. Many families are now affected by a member having the condition and it's not always well-understood. This one-day course will explain what dementia actually is, the different types and possible treatments or support available - both now and hopefully in the future.
