Mathematics at AS and A2 Levels is both interesting and challenging. It builds upon work you have met at GCSE but also involves new ideas and powerful techniques for solving problems. An A-Level in Mathematics is a valuable qualification for students wanting to pursue careers in a wide variety of areas, while gaining an AS in Mathematics is often a useful supporting subject to many courses at A2 and degree level. At A2 Level a further three modules are studied. Core 3 and 4 together with Mechanics 1.
