A level Drama and Theatre is a popular and highly successful key stage 5 option at Plume College. Many of our Drama students have gained places at prestigious Universities, studying subjects such as law, Education and Business Studies. Our students have found studying A Level Drama and Theatre instrumental to developing their analytical skills, independence and self-awareness; key skills required in Higher Education and in the wider world of employment. Furthermore, many of our students have also gone on to study Drama and Theatre at a higher level. Component 1, Drama and Theatre. Component 2, Creating Original Drama. Component 3, This is a practical component in which students are assessed on their ability to apply theatrical skills to realise artistic intentions in live performance (AO2) and analyse and evaluate their own work (AO4).
