The course will develop and assess your skills in English. You will learn to write fiction and non-fiction, assess spoken language, study a novel and take part in a range of speaking and listening activities including informal presentations, group discussion and role play. You will analyse how language is used in a range of written formats including advertisements, fiction, non-fiction and stories. You will learn about aspects of grammar and how literary and other techniques can be used.
