To be an Engineer, you need to use mathematics and science to understand the world around you, and to design products and systems in order to solve problems. You will equally be involved in some aspects of testing, maintenance, design or manufacture, and this course will start to prepare you for a dynamic career in the industry. It will build on the mathematics and science that you have already studied, and develop new knowledge/skills in areas such as engineering materials, manufacturing, electronics, CAD, design and project management.
