This is a one year program designed to develop both your Hairdressing and creative skills to a more advanced level.
Name: Hairdressing - Level 3 Diploma (VRQ) Qualification title: Diploma in Women's Hairdressing (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Practical - Practical assessment will be carried out on paying clients in the training Salon. All practical work carried out will need to be recorded via a digital camera to form the evidence to be included with your portfolio. Attempts at assessment are made when you feel you have a good chance of successfully meeting the performance criteria. Assessments are recorded in your assessment book. Throughout the course you will need to keep records of the work you complete, so that these may be used to form the basis of your portfolio. Exams - There is a mixture of exams which are in the form of on-line-testing. There is also a considerable amount of project, assignment and portfolio work for this course. Homework - Homework is set as a revision task for on-line testing you will also be required to complete a client write-up.
