You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic travel and tourism situations, activities and demands. As well as learning about the employment opportunities, you will develop the skills needed to start or progress in your career.

Name: Travel and Tourism - BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma Qualification title: BTEC 90-credit Diploma in Travel and Tourism (QCF) Qualification type: Assessment Coursework will require you to research and gather information relevant to the units; this will then be put together to fulfil the unit coursework requirements. Assessment will be carried out through a variety of formats from role plays to presentations to written submissions. In the 2nd year of your course you will be required to attend a compulsory residential for the assessment of your Outdoor and Adventurous Activities unit. Pricing information will be provided at the end of your first year but will be approximately £200. Entry requirements

Essential textbooks are provided by the College, but you will need basic stationery. Access to IT would be useful but both are available through the Library and the course itself, you will also be required to purchase smart clothes to be worn if you choose to undertake work experience.
