This course is delivered in two separate parts. The AS course in year 1 and the A2 course in year 2 leading to a full A Level qualification. The course builds on the concepts and skills that will have been developed in the GCSE science courses. The biology course is presented in an exciting, relevant and challenging way and teaches the essential principles in contexts that students find interesting. The course emphasises the way in which scientists work and the contributions of science to modern society in a way that underpins the learning and stimulates the enthusiasm of students.
