A2 SOCIOLOGY

This course is delivered in two parts - the AS course in year one, and the A2 course in year two, leading to to the full A level qualification at the end of year two. Learners study socialisation, culture and identity to gain knowledge and understanding of central aspects of sociological thoughts and methods. At A2 learners are able to develop their understanding through studying social differentiation, power and stratification.
