This course carries the equivalent UCAS points of 2 A levels and is a two year course. students are able to combine their study on this course with A levels and/or GCSE's. This qualification gives the learner the opportunity to study various scientific genres within a broad curriculum. learners will develop technical skills and vocational skills for both the workplace and higher education covering a range of units such as scientific investigation, practical chemical analysis, microbiological techniques and many more.
