The Advanced Diploma in Vehicle Accident Repair Technology is designed for progressing students from the Intermediate Diploma or people with previous experience. The course concentrates predominately on the refinishing sector, but does also contain core aspects of panel beating and structural realignment. Students will develop their skills in key areas to enable them to apply a range of modern vehicle paints including metallic, pearl and special effect finishes. The programme includes theoretical and practical work in the following subjects: Vehicle Body Technology Vehicle Refinishing Technology Vehicle Body Repair Techniques General Engineering Welding Accident Damage Estimating Structural Realignment These activities will be based in the College's well-equipped vehicle body repair workshop.
