Science - BTEC Applied

This course is currently under review, so the following details are provisional. The BTEC allows learners to develop their knowledge and understanding of science by providing a more practical and real world approach to learning, allowing students to develop knowledge of all three sciences, as well as their applications. Students will cover areas ranging from the effects of exercise on the body, how enzymes work, looking at high tech medical instruments such as MRI machines, all the way to carrying out investigations into unknown chemicals.
