You will study Physical Geography which introduces learners to the integrated study of earth surface processes, landforms and resultant landscapes. An understanding of earth surface processes, together with their associated transfers of energy and movement of materials underpins the landscape systems topic. You will also study Human Geography: People are at the heart of places, living their lives and forming attachments and making connections. Places are dynamic, multi-layered and the history and culture of a nation can be found in their buildings, public spaces and urban areas. Our environment includes a wide variety of places, from rural to urban, small streets to megacities and diversity exists between and within all of these places. Investigative Geography is another part which gives learners the opportunity to undertake an independent investigation which is of particular interest to them. which can be related to any part of the specification. It consists of a written report which will assess the process of enquiry and investigation/
