Sociology A Level

Sociology is the study of individuals within society. The focus in Sociology is looking at society holistically, whilst considering the groups of individuals within it. Sociology looks at key areas such as Education, Crime and deviance, the Family and households and beliefs in society and the effects these have on society, we also look at theory and methods. Sociology students will also investigate social inequality to learn about discrepancies between genders, ages, ethnicities and social classes.
