The course is wide ranging and covers the three main disciplines of chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Skills that students will develop include: • Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas, processes, techniques and procedures. • Application of knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas processes, techniques and procedures in theoretical and practical context, handling both qualitative and quantitative data. • Ability to analyse, interpret and evaluate scientific information, ideas and evidence, including judgements, conclusions, developing and refining practical design and procedures.
