The Level 2 Certificate is for students who wish to work in the children and young people's sector. Students studying on the Certificate will develop knowledge and skills relating to the Early Learning and Childcare workforces. Students will also be expected to attend a work placement. Personal skills will be developed in addition to English, Mathematics and ICT. There is a mandatory work placement for students.
