The course content includes an equal mix of practical and theoretical study and written homework. You are encouraged to read around these subjects and attend both theory and practical lessons whilst studying the following: providing facial skin care treatment, enhancing eyebrows and lashes, carrying out waxing services, providing manicure and pedicure, salon reception, make-up, health and safety, client care, creating images and displaying stock. Additional courses covering spray tan, nail art, gel nails and lash enhancements may be offered. Work experience hours as well as enrichment activities need to be completed throughout the year.
